PUERTO VALLARTA, Jalisco, Mexico. - The Cal State Fullerton Titans defeated Ole Miss 4-1 on Friday night at the Puerto Vallarta Collegiate Challenge.

Myka Sutherlin was once again great in the circle and pitched a seven inning complete game against Ole Miss.  She allowed one earned run on four hits, two walks, and eight strikeouts.

Ole Miss took an early 1-0 lead in the top of the 3rd inning.  With runners on first and second, Savana Sikes hit a hard hit ball to third that pinged its way around the infield which led to the run being scored.  However, with bases loaded, Sutherlin was able to strike out the next two batters to escape the bases loaded jam.

The Titans would pick her right back up in the bottom half of the inning.  Megan Delgadillo led the inning off with a chopper over the third baseman down the LF line.  She was able to steal second for her 100th career stolen base.

Delgadillo advanced to third on a sac bunt by Alexa NeilHannah Becerra walked and stole second base to put two runners on in scoring position.  Jessi Alcala doubled to deep LF to plate two runs.

Peyton Toto followed her up with a single over the first baseman's head down the RF line to plate Alcala and make it a 3-1 game.

Hannah Becerra walked to start the fifth inning and stole her second bag of the game.  Evelyn Sablan came up clutch with a pinch hit double to right center to score Becerra.

Ole Miss had the tying run at the dish in the seventh inning with two outs in the inning, but Sutherlin was able to get a pop up to end the game and hand the win to the Titans.
