Softball Drops Midweek At No. 3 UCLA

LOS ANGELES, Calif. - The Cal State Fullerton Titans played their final midweek game of the season as they lost 13-0 against the No. 3 team in the country, the UCLA Bruins.

The Titans fall to 31-16 overall for the season while the Bruins move to 37-5 for the season. 

Staci Chambers got the start in the circle for the Titans for her 10th start of the year.  Chambers went two innings and allowed 6 runs (5 earned) on 4 hits and 3 walks.  Alexia Silvas allowed 5 runs on two hits and two walks and one hit batter.  Ellie Zellien pitched the last two innings and allowed 2 runs on three hits and struck out two.

Daisy Munoz and Antuanett Dean were the only Titans to pick up hits in the contest. 

The Bruins scored 3 runs in the first inning, 3 runs in the second inning, 6 runs in the third inning, and 1 in the fourth inning. 

After being on the road for the past five games, the Titans will head home to Anderson Family Field for a three-game set with Cal Poly.   The Titans will play a doubleheader on Saturday before capping off the series on Sunday.
