FULLERTON, Calif. - The Cal State Fullerton Titans softball dropped an 8-3 game against the Seattle Redhawks on Saturday evening at Anderson Family Field on the third day of the Judi Garman Classic.
The Titans (12-7) were outhit by the Redhawks (11-7) by a margin of 12-to-5.
Stefanie Madrigal picked up her eighth win of the season while Staci Chambers picked up the loss.
The Redhawks exploded for five runs off six hits in the third inning to take a 5-0 lead.
The Titans would get three runs back in the fifth inning. After loading the bases to start the inning, Daisy Munoz had a single to LF that scored two runs.

Alyssa Hernandez plated another run after an infield single through the right side to make it a 5-3 game.

However, a three run home run by Seattle restored the 5-run advantage in the sixth inning and the Titans weren't able to complete the comeback.
The Titans play their final game of the Judi Garman Classic on Sunday at 1:30 PM against the Weber State Wildcats.
