FULLERTON, Calif. - Cal State Fullerton softball was recognized by the Big West Conference on Monday as Sophie Frost was named Pitcher of the Week for the third time this season and KK Humphreys was tabbed as Freshman of the Week.

• Frost had a pair of lockdown performances last weekend against Cal Poly, netting her Big West Pitcher of the Week accolades.
 
• Her first appearance was a complete game shutout, allowing just seven hits, walking three and striking out a pair over seven innings.
 
• Frost pitched only four innings in her second start but was on point throughout, allowing just two hits, two walks and striking out three for the win.

• She hasn't allowed a run in her last 15 innings in the cirlce. She has earned a win (15) or save (1) in each of her last 16 appearances.

• Cal State Fullerton continued its run of Big West Freshman of the Week recipients, adding KK Humphreys to that list after her performance against Cal Poly last weekend.
 
• Humphreys hit .667 over the three games she played in the series, recording a pair of multi-hit games.
 
• She had a 3-for-3 effort in the game three win, adding a homer, two RBI and scoring twice in the 15-2 win.

• Cal State Fullerton has now won five of the 11 conference Freshman of the Week awards this season.
