FULLERTON, Calif. - For the second time this season, Cal State Fullerton softball senior Sophie Frost has been named Big West Pitcher of the Week. The league announced the weekly honorees on Monday.

• Frost earned Big West Pitcher of the Week honors for the second time this season after earning two wins and a save in the three-game conference series at UC San Diego.
 
• Frost started the weekend with an efficient five-inning start in game one, allowing three hits, no walks, one run (unearned) and striking out two for the win.
 
• She then appeared out of the bullpen in game two, recording her first save of the season after going three innings and allowing just two hits, one run (earned) and one walk.
 
• The senior was back in the circle as a starter in game three, going all nine innings of the 1-0 win. She allowed just four hits and struck out three with no walks allowed.
