LOS ANGELES - Cal State Fullerton softball swept Loyola Marymount on Thursday. The Titans won the first game by a score of 7-5 thanks to a complete game from Sophie Frost in the circle and a three-run shot from freshman Hannah Becerra in the top of the seventh. In game two, the Titans won 5-2 as Humphreys scored three runs, including a solo homer in the second. Next up, the Titans host No. 1 UCLA without fans on Saturday at 1 and 3 p.m. PT. GAME ONE
The Titans allowed one unearned and one earned run in the bottom of the second inning but took the lead with a three-run third inning. The bats came alive that inning with four hits including a double by Megan Delgadillo and two RBI singles by Bailey Wallace and Hannah Becerra, respectively.

Fullerton extended the lead to 4-2 in the top of the fifth when Irie Siofele doubled and was later driven in by Delgadillo.

LMU tied the game up in the bottom of the sixth with two unearned runs.

Becerra hit a three-run homer in the top of the 7th to give the Titans the lead. To start the inning off, Kika Ramirez pinch hit and get on base via hit by pitch, then Delgadillo singled. After a fielder's choice, Wallace and Delgadillo were on base when Becerra launched her second-career home run to left center.

Frost (1-1) allowed a solo home run in the bottom of the seventh to make the final score 7-5 but she got the win with a line of 7 IP, 4 H, 5 R (two earned), 5 BB and 8K while facing 32 batters.

GAME TWO
KK Humphreys hit her second-career home run in the top of the second inning to give the Titans a 1-0 lead.

The duo of Siofele and Humphreys combined two the next runs for the Titans. Siofele doubled in both the third and fifth innings to score Humphreys and give the Titans a 3-0 lead.

LMU pulled two runs back in the bottom of the fifth but Kelsie Whitmore responded with her first homer of the season and eighth of her career in the top of the sixth. 

Daisy Munoz then hit her first home run of the season in the top of the seventh. The 13th homer of her career put Fullerton up 5-2 in the seventh.

Freshman Ellie Zellien (1-0) made her first-career start and picked up her first-career win. She pitched three scoreless innings while allowing two hits and two walks with three strikeouts. 

Dani Martinez relieved Zellien to pitch the final four innings of the game and earn her first save of the season. She posted a line of two runs, two hits, zero walks and three strikeouts to record the fifth save of her career.
