FULLERTON, Calif. - Cal State Fullerton is set to face UC Riverside this weekend on the verge of clinching their fourth straight conference championship. The game times have been changed due to rain in the forecast. Friday will be a doubleheader with start times of 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. with the series finale at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
To earn at least a share of the crown, the Titans need one win or one Hawai'i loss. To clinch outright, they need two wins or one win and one Hawai'i loss.

Fullerton enters the weekend with a 35-16 overall record and a 15-3 mark in conference play while UC Riverside sports a 26-22 overall record and an 8-10 record in Big West action. Both teams are coming off sweeps last weekend as the Titans swept Cal Poly at home and the Highlanders swept UC Santa Barbara on the road.
The Titans offense is led by Ari Williams who sports a Big West leading .407 average in conference play and she has reached in all 18 games. If she were to reach in all three games of the UCR series, it will be the first time since 2002 that a Titan has reached base in every conference game. In the circle, it continues to be Dani Martinez leading the pitching staff. The freshman right-hander is coming off a nine-inning performance in the Cal Poly opener going on to earn her fifth Big West Freshman of the Week.
The Highlanders are led by Danielle Ortega who's hitting .379 for the entire season, a mark that ranks third best in the Big West. In conference action, she is hitting .324 at the top of the UCR lineup. Melanie Olmos has been the star in the circle for Riverside with a 1.91 ERA in 44 innings of work in Big West action.
Cal State Fullerton and UC Riverside will open the series up with a doubleheader on Friday beginning at 1:00 p.m. and play the season finale on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
