LA COSTA CANYON HIGH SCHOOL Four-year varsity letter winner in softball for the Mavericks under Mary Jo Griswold… two-time first-team All-Avocado West League selection as a junior and senior and the league's Pitcher of the Year twice (2012, 2013) helping the Mavericks win the league title during her junior season… first-team All-North County selection in 2012… played her first two prep seasons at Torrey Pines High School… two-time San Diego Union-Tribune All-Academic Team… named the team’s MVP during her senior season.
PERSONAL Born in Carlsbad, Calif… parents are Dan and Debbie… majoring in international business with aspirations of working in the tourism industry in San Diego, Calif… chose Fullerton because of the location and the rich history and tradition in softball and baseball... favorites include: Turquoise (color), Cats (pets), “Not all of those who wander are lost,” (quote), computer games (hobby), Island of Utilla off the coast of Honduras (place already visited), Japan (would like to visit), Korean (food), Hot Cheetos (snack), Coke (drink), San Diego Padres, San Diego Chargers (athletic teams), Lord of the Rings (movie), Game of Thrones (tv show), all pop bands (musical artists), "Lord of the Rings," (book)... greatest accomplishment: Scuba certification, dove 70’ on first dive... something most people would be surprised about me: I speak Japanese... I chose Fullerton because: I wanted to play in Southern California against the toughest competition in the country.
