ALL-REGION HONOREES (FULL LIST)

FULLERTON, Calif. - The United Soccer Coaches announced the NCAA Division I Women's Soccer All-Region Teams on Tuesday and the Cal State Fullerton women's soccer had two honorees named to the list. Senior defender Megan Day and senior forward Kaytlin Brinkman claimed All-West Region Second Team honors.

These are the 32nd and 33rd All-West Region Honors in program history.  Megan Day joins Jenae Gibbens, Stacey Webster, Nano Oronoz, and Atlanta Primus as the only Titans to have received multiple All-West Region honors in their career.

Megan Day was earlier named The Big West Defensive Player of the Year and the first since Morgan Batcheller in 2015. The La Mirada native was also just the 11th Titan in program history to be a two-time First Team All-Big West honoree.  Day was previously named the Big West Freshman of the Year in 2019 and to the All-Big West First Team in 2019, and the All-Second Team in 2021.  Day was named the Big West Offensive Player of the Week (9/26) after scoring a brace against UC San Diego.  She anchored a backline that posted seven shutouts for the season. The Titans defense allowed just 8 goals in 10 conference games this season.  As a freshman, Day was named to the All-West Region First Team.

Kaytlin Brinkman garnered All-West Region recognition for the first time in her career.  The Antioch native led the Titans with 11 points on five goals and one assist. She scored four of her goals in conference play and was named the Big West Player of the Week (10/10) after scoring a brace against UC Riverside.

The Titans finished the season 9-6-5 overall and 6-2-2 in conference play.  They were the No. 3 seed in the Big West Championships before being eliminated by UC Irvine in their final game of the season.
