FULLERTON, Calif. - The Cal State Fullerton women's soccer team 7-4-5 (4-1-2 BWC) ended their match against Cal Poly Pomona in a 0-0 stalemate on Sunday at Titan Stadium.
Heading into this game, the Titans and Mustangs sat tied for second place in the Big West Conference. With this draw, the two teams moved into a temporary tie for first place with Long Beach State who is set to take on Cal State Northridge at 6 p.m.
Makenna McGill led the Titans in shots with 5 as the Titans totaled 10 shots for the game. The Broncos had 11 shots for the game.
Mia Ranson had another quality performance in goal, recording her 74th and 75th saves on the season. The Titans defense came up big in this game, keeping Cal Poly from getting on the board.

Fullerton had two players hacked down in the box by Cal Poly defenders on Kaya Hawkinson and McGill during the second half that could have constituted penalty kicks, but neither time a penalty was issued.

The Titans go on a two game road trip next week against UC Davis and Hawaii. They head to UC Davis on Thursday for a game at 4:00 p.m. before flying to Hawaii for a match on Sunday against the Rainbow Wahine at 7:00 p.m. PST
