IRVINE, Calif. - The Cal State Fullerton Titans women's soccer team drew 0-0 on the road with the UCI Anteaters on Sunday evening at Anteater field.
The Titans (5-4-4, 2-1-1 BWC) beat the Anteaters earlier in the season in a non-conference matchup at home but neither side could find the breakthrough in Sunday's game. The Titans are tied for third place with UC Irvine and Cal Poly with seven points. Long Beach leads the conference with 10 points and CSU Bakersfield is secon with 8 points.
The Titans outshot the Anteaters for the match 12-to-11 with the Titans the more attacking side in the first half.
Kaya Hawkinson had a freekick saved in the 11th minute which was the best opportunity in the first half.
The Titans also had another good opportunity in the second half after Makenna McGill had an open net but the Anteater defenders were able to close down on her before she was able to fire off a shot.
Mia Ranson made a couple big saves in the game to keep the Eaters off the board.

She made a big save in the 39th minute and once again right before halftime.

Ranson finished with five saves for the game. Gio Hinojosa made seven saves for the game.
The Titans head home for their next game where they will take on UC Riverside on Thursday at 7:00 p.m.
