IRVINE, Calif. - The center back pairing of Megan Day and Meghan Schroh won the Big West Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week awards, it was announced on Monday by the conference.
The duo combined for all three goals in the win over UC San Diego on Sunday in a 3-0 win in their conference home opener. They also led the defense in keeping their fourth clean sheet of the season against the Tritons and holding onto the win over CSUN on Thursday in their Big West opener.
Meghan Schroh combined with Megan Day for two corner kick goals in the first half against UCSD.

Megan Day scored her first two goals of the year and her first goals since her freshman season in 2019.

In the second half, Meghan Schroh scored directly from a corner kick after her ball bent perfectly over the goalkeeper into the net.

Day last won weekly honors when she won the Big West Defensive Player of the Week in her freshman season on October 14th, 2019.
This is the first time that Meghan Schroh has garnered a weekly honors award in her career.
The Titans head to Long Beach State on Thursday, September 29th.
