"We were basically playing in the Big West Tournament the last part of the season so I'm extremely proud of the women and the program. To go 6-0 in our conference, that's an incredible feat. I'm very happy with how they responded."

Fullerton had opportunities throughout the match but were unable to capitalize, recording nine shots while Cal Poly had 10. The Titans were able to earn six corner kicks in the match with Cal Poly earning seven.

The Mustangs Olivia Ortiz scored in the 13th minute to put Cal Poly ahead 1-0. An own goal by the Titans put Cal Poly up 2-0 in the 51st minute.

"We have a fantastic group of young women in our program that have great role models to look up to," Brown said. "We won't waste any time to get back to work and re-establish ourselves and get back to this point in 2022."
