ALL-AMERICA HONOREES (FULL LIST)

FULLERTON, Calif. - The United Soccer Coaches announced the NCAA Division I Women's Soccer All-American Teams on Thursday and Cal State Fullerton women's soccer senior midfielder Atlanta Primus was honored as a third-team member. Primus is just the third student-athlete in program history to garner All-America accolades and the first since Marlene Sandoval in 2005. She is also just the ninth All-American in Big West Conference history and the first since 2015.

"This is an amazing achievement for an amazing member of our program," head coach Demian Brown said. "I'm proud of our play, her influence on the team and her overall career. I consider myself very fortunate to have had the opportunity to coach her."

Primus collected awards left and right during the 2019 campaign. She was the 2019 Big West Midfielder of the Year, named a first team All-Big West and All-West Region honoree and was the Big West Tournament MVP. She scored or assisted in 17 of 21 matches this season. Her streak of six straight matches from Sept. 13 to Oct. 10 with a point (either a goal or assist) is tied for the second longest in school history. She tied the school record for most assists in a single season at 13 and at 24 assists for her career, she has the most assists in school history. She also tallied 25 goals in her career, equaling a 74-point total, the fourth-best mark in program history.

It was a historic year for the Titans as they posted an overall record of 14-3-4 (5-0-3 Big West) by making history in the Big West Conference as the first team to win the championship after finishing in last place the year prior. The squad also posted a 16-match unbeaten streak, the longest in program history, and went on to win both the Big West regular season and tournament titles.
