FULLERTON, Calif. - Cal State Fullerton women's soccer handled CSUN to claim their second Big West Tournament Championship in the last three years as the Titans won 4-0 on Sunday night. Fullerton went through Big West play during the regular season and tournament without a single defeat and the team is unbeaten in its last 16 matches, a school-record streak. This the sixth Big West Tournament Title in program history and the team's ninth trip to the NCAA Tournament, six of those have been with head coach Demian Brown at the helm. Senior Atlanta Primus was named Big West Tournament MVP.

Fullerton truly dominated as they took eight shots in the first half, four of them were goals and only allowed one shot that was not on target. The Titans had 65% possession during the first 45 minutes. Fullerton equaled their own tournament record for goals in a match, but in the first half as the Titans also scored four in 2005.

Much like the the semifinal, the Titans jumped out to an early lead and did not look back as Big West Freshman of the Year Megan Day scored off senior Sarah Davidson's corner kick in the ninth minute. It was her third goal of the season and second match winner.

The Titans scored a second just minutes later as Primus got her 11th of the season thanks to assists from seniors Savannah Sloniger and Maddie Bennett.

Bennett then got her goal at the 19:52 mark for her 12th goal of the season with the assist from freshman Meghan Schroh, her second of the assist.

Just before the end of the half, senior Alea Acosta won the PK and sophomore Kaya Hawkinson buried it to score the first goal of her career from the spot.
