FULLERTON, Calif. - The Big West Conference announced the 2019 women's soccer yearly honors and the Titans, as regular season champions, were represented very well. Senior Atlanta Primus was named Big West Women's Soccer Midfielder of the Year while defender Megan Day was named Big West Women's Soccer Freshman of the Year. Three Titans claimed First Team All-Big West honors, two were on the second team and one earned honorable mention. Two Titans were also named to the Big West All-Freshman team.

Primus is the fifth Titan to be named Midfielder of the Year and first since Christina Burkenroad in 2015. She is also just the 10th Titan in program history to be a two-time First Team All-Big West honoree. She ranks second in the Big West in goals (10), first in assists (12), second in points (32) and tied for fifth with two game-winning goals. Her assist total is tied for fifth in the NCAA and is tied for third-most in a single season in Big West history. She has scored or assisted in 14 of 18 CSF matches this season and has nine multi-point matches. She has recorded a season-best five points (1 g, 3 a) against Northern Colorado on August 30. Her twenty-three career assists is the most in Titan history and is tied for sixth in Big West history.

Day is only the second recipient of the Freshman of the Year award from Cal State Fullerton and first since 2002 (Karen Bardsley). She started 13 of her 18 contests on the Titan backline, including each of the last 10. She played a key role as the Cal State Fullerton defense allow just 17 goals and record nine shutouts this season. She added two goals on the season, including the game-winner in a 1-0 victory over UC Riverside on October 13. During conference play, she anchored a Titan defense that allowed just four goals, never more than one in a match and shutout four opponents.

Along with Primus and Day, senior forward Maddie Bennett was named to the All-Big West First Team. She was named Big West Offensive Player of the Week twice throughout the season and is tied with Primus on 10 goals for the season. She has scored four match-winning goals against Houston, Kansas State, UC Davis and Long Beach State. She's tied for 47th in the nation and No. 3 in school history for match winners in a single season. She ranks third in the Big West in points per game at 1.39.

Junior forward Haley Brown and junior defender Delaney Dombek Lindahl garnered Second Team All-Big West accolades. Brown, the Sep. 16 Big West Offensive Player of the Week, has tallied six goals and eight assists on the year to rank her fourth in the Big West in points at 20 total. Her eight assists are tied for the fourth-best total in a single season in school history. She's scored two match-winning goals on the year including the winner against CSUN to give the Titans the Big West title. Lindahl has played the most minutes of any Titan this season and has been instrumental in the success of the Titans defense as she has played both central and wide roles.

Sophomore midfielder Kaya Hawkinson earned All-Big West honorable mention plaudits after being a member of the All-Big West Freshman Team in 2018. She has four assists as well and is second on the team in minutes played this season behind only Lindahl.

Day and redshirt freshman goalkeeper Noa Schumacher were named to the Big West All-Freshman team. Schumacher, the Oct. 28 Big West Defensive Player of the Week has recorded six shutouts on the year as the goalkeeper for the Titans and allowed just four goals in eight Big West matches, the best mark in the league. She currently holds the seventh-best goals against average (GAA) in program history for a single season at 0.90. Her 10 wins are ranked eighth for a single season and six shutouts are sixth in program history for a single season.
