Women's Soccer Hits the Road to Face LBSU and UCR

FULLERTON, Calif. – After dominating in its Big West Conference opener against UC Davis with a 4-0 victory, Cal State Fullerton women's soccer hits the road for two conference games this week as they face Long Beach State, Thursday and UC Riverside, Sunday.

Atlanta Primus made history last week against UC Davis as she set the school record for assists in a career with her 20th and 21st assists. She also scored a goal of her own to lead the Titans to a 8-2-1 overall record and 1-0 in league play.

Primus leads the team in points this season with 26 to lead the Big West, on eight goals and 10 assists. Her 10 assists ranks first in the conference and is tied for third in the nation. Her eight goals is tied for first in the conference with fellow Titan Maddie Bennett. Bennett is second in the conference in total points with 20 on eight goals and four assists. 

Haley Brown has been an offensive force for the Titans this season as well, racking up for goals and eight assists to give her 16 points through 11 games. Brown and Primus have both been named Big West Offensive Player of the Week this season while Bennett as received the award twice.

The Titans are 12-8-3 all-time against Long Beach State with a 7-3-1 record on the road. Fullerton is 3-0-1 in the last four matches against Long Beach, including last year's 1-1 draw at Titan Stadium. Long Beach heads into Thursday's matchup with a 3-8 overall record and a 1-1 record in conference play. 

Following Thursday's match with rivals Long Beach State, the Titans turn their attention to UC Riverside who they will face Sunday on the road. Fullerton is 10-7-3 all-time against the Highlanders with a 4-4-1 record on the road. UC Riverside is 2-9-1 this season and have not earned a win in its last six matches. The Highlander are 0-2 in Big West Conference play.

PARKING
CSUF requires a parking permit for all weekday games. Beginning July 1st, parking on campus will be $10 for an All-Day permit Monday through Thursday 7:00 am to 10:00 pm Friday until 5pm.  After 5pm on Friday, Permits are not required, as well as on the weekend.  Park and Pay stalls Monday through Thursday 7:00 am to 10:00 pm  (Friday until 5pm) are $4 for 1-hour, $8 for 2-hours. Permits can be purchased in parking lots at the permit machines and accept only major credit cards.
