Head coach Demian Brown and his squad are 5-2 overall this year, 1-1 on the road and 4-1 at home. Last week, the Titans won at Missouri by a score of 3-2. Junior forward Haley Brown scored two goals including the match winner to lead the team to its first road win of the season.

Senior midfielder Atlanta Primus, the Sep. 2 Big West Offensive Player of the Week, is tied for second on the team in goals with three. She scored each of those three goals in consecutive games, tied for the longest scoring streak in program history. Primus is tied for first in the nation with total assists on the year at seven. At 18 assists for her career, she is just two away from setting the program record. She's also tallied 16 goals in her career, equaling 50 points, the eighth-best mark in program history.

Senior forward Maddie Bennett, the Sep. 9 Big West Offensive Player of the Week, leads the team with six goals including match-winning goals against both Houston and Kansas state. She has 13 points on the year (two points per goal, one per assist), tied with Primus for the best mark in the league and is the No. 22 mark in the nation.

Brown, the reigning Big West Offensive Player of the Week, has three goals and three assists on the year, good for third in the conference in points at nine.

Sophomore Kaya Hawkinson has three assists as well. Redshirt freshman Noa Schumacher has recorded two shutouts on the year as the goalkeeper for the Titans.

As a team, the Titans are seventh in the nation and tops in the Big West in corner kicks per match at 9.00.

Loyola Marymount is 0-5-2 overall but has played a very tough non-conference schedule, losing to ranked foes Penn State and Washington State. Overall, the Titans are losing the all-time series matchup 8-11-1 with the most recent match a 2-1 loss at Titan Stadium on Aug. 12, 2016.

Weber State is 1-6 for the season, including losses to Arizona and Arizona State. It has scored just two goals in seven matches. The only other matchup between these two programs came on Sep. 11, 1997 when Weber State won 3-1 in Utah.

Brown talked about the squad in-depth in this video here, breaking down the team by position group and talking about the non-conference schedule. Brown has won over 100 matches in his 12 years as head coach. He has steered the Titans to four Big West regular season championships (2007, 2012, 2014, 2015) and five Big West Tournament championships (2007, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2017) representing the league as the Big West's automatic qualifier at the NCAA Tournament for four of the last six years (2013, 2014, 2015, 2017) in addition to the Titans' postseason trip in 2007.

Primus was selected as one of 11 student-athletes to be a Preseason All-Big West honoree. It is her second straight year earning the preseason accolade. As a junior, Primus was 2018 All-Conference First Team selection as she started all 18 games she played in. She scored a team-high six goals and led the team in points scored with 15 as she also dished out three assists.

The Big West Conference also announced that Titans were picked fourth in the preseason coaches poll

Along with a strong crop of newcomers, the Titans also welcome back Alba Barrios and Jessica Simonian from injuries that forced them to miss the entire 2018 season. You can read more about Barrios and her journey here.
