FULLERTON, Calif. - The Big West Conference announced the 2019 women's soccer preseason coaches poll and the preseason all-conference team on Thursday. Cal State Fullerton was tabbed fourth in the coaches while senior Atlanta Primus was one of 11 student-athletes named to the all-league team.
Head coach Demian Brown and his squad tallied 42 points in fourth. Long Beach State garnered 76 points (five first-place votes) in first, UC Santa Barbara tallied 69 (1) in second and UC Irvine had 65 points (2) in third place.
Primus earned her second straight preseason all-conference selection after she was a 2018 First-Team All-Big West honoree. Last year, Primus started all 18 games she played in and scored a team-high six goals. She was tops on the team in points scored with 15 as she also dished out three assists.
PARKING
CSUF requires a parking permit for all weekday games. Beginning July 1st, parking on campus will be $10 for an All-Day permit Monday through Thursday 7:00 am to 10:00 pm Friday until 5pm. After 5pm on Friday, Permits are not required, as well as on the weekend. Park and Pay stalls Monday through Thursday 7:00 am to 10:00 pm (Friday until 5pm) are $4 for 1-hour, $8 for 2-hours. Permits can be purchased in parking lots at the permit machines and accept only major credit cards.
