DAVIS, Calif. – Cal State Fullerton women's soccer gave up two early goals to UC Davis on Thursday afternoon and could not recover, ultimately losing 2-1.

Margot Ridgeway opened the scoring for the Aggies at the 1:36 mark as she headed home a ball supplied by Janae Gonzalez off a corner kick. The Aggies then scored at the 2:34 mark as Hailey Rittershofer was at the right place at the right time to tap in the rebound off Mahlah Catline's shot that hit the post.

Atlanta Primus put the Titans on the board at the 76:55 mark for her fourth goal of the season. Primus got her head on a loose ball in the box off a Kaya Hawkinson corner kick to pull the Titans within in one of the Aggies.

The Aggies had 16 shots to 10 for the Titans, seven of which came in the second period. UCD won eight corner kicks while CSF won four.

Fullerton returns to the field next Friday at 7 p.m. PT at UC Santa Barbara.
