2018 Spring Soccer Schedule

FULLERTON, Calif. – The Cal State Fullerton women's soccer team unveiled its nine-game spring schedule, head coach Demian Brown announced on Thursday.

The Titans will play seven home games and host a total of 10 games at Titan Stadium while playing one game on the road. The Titans' fifth annual Soccer For Hope Benefit returns to Titan Stadium on Apr. 15.

The reigning Big West Tournament Champions will welcome cross-conference rivals as well as top-ranked teams from 2017.

Fullerton opens up the spring campaign on March 11 against Big West competitors UC Riverside at 5 pm PT. Riverside finished the season third in the conference with an overall record of 8-11-2 (5-3 BWC). The Titans fell to the Highlanders 1-0 when they met back on Oct. 5, 2017.

March 24 marks the arrival of two teams who ended their respective seasons ranked in the Top 25. USC finished the season ranked No. 13 in the country with an overall record of 15-3-2. USC made it to the second round of the NCAA tournament but fell to Baylor in PKs.

Fullerton will then play No. 16 West Coast Conference Champions Pepperdine later in the day. The Waves and Titans last saw each other in the first round of the NCAA tournament where the Waves handed the Titans a heart-wrenching 1-0 loss. Pepperdine advanced to the second round where they fell to Virgina 3-0. Pepperdine finished the season 15-3-3.

For the fifth consecutive year, the Titans will partner with Soccer For Hope, a non-profit cancer awareness foundation, to help spread cancer awareness on Apr. 15. Soccer For Hope is an organization founded by Oliver & Jamie Wyss in 1998. Oliver is a former professional soccer player and survivor of Aplastic Anemia. The organization has been driven by its goal to raise funds and awareness for children with life-threatening diseases.

Fullerton will kick off the day against Cal Poly. The Mustangs ended the season seventh in the conference with an overall record of 8-7-9 (2-4-2 BWC). Cal Poly defeated Fullerton 2-0 back when the two teams met on Oct. 19, 2017.

The showcase match for Soccer for Hope will be against Loyola Marymount at 3:00 p.m. PT. The Lions finished their season 9-6-4 (4-4-1).

The Titans will then take on CSU Los Angeles on Apr. 21. The Golden Eagles wrapped their 2017-18 season with a record of 9-5-3  (7-3-2).

Fullerton's spring schedule will close on the road as they take on the Gauchos of UC Santa Barbara on Apr. 28 in Santa Barbara, Calif. The Titans beat out the Gauchos 1-0 during conference play on Oct. 22, 2017.
