FULLERTON, Calif. – Following its successful Kick-Off Fundraiser this past Saturday, he three-time defending Big West Tournament champion Cal State Fullerton women's soccer team will be back on the field this week for a pair of exhibitions.

"Our upcoming matches will give us a great idea of where we are as a program," said Titans Head Coach Demian Brown. "This group of Titans has an opportunity for a special type of success and these early challenges will help us prepare"

The Titans will host Pepperdine on Wednesday afternoon at Titan Stadium for a scrimmage starting at 1 p.m. Admission for the event is free. Parking is $8. The Waves finished the 2015 season with a 8-9-2 record and 3-6 mark in conference play.

Fullerton then hosts Loyola Marymount for an exhibition match at Titan Stadium. Kick off is set for 7 p.m. Admission is $5 and parking is free after 5 p.m.

The Lions had their best year in program history in 2015, going 15-6-1 in 2015 and advancing to the NCAA Tournament. They set new program records in wins (15), conference wins (7), and conference standing (tied for 2nd). The Lions recorded their first ever postseason victories last year, defeating Cal in the first round and blanking Minnesota in the second round before getting eliminated by West Virginia. The 2016 squad lost nine seniors from 2015 but will return All-WCC Second Team selection Sarah Sanger and WCC All-Freshman Team selections Charlee Pruitt, Gabbie Sanfilippo and Emma Tyrnauer.

The exhibitions come off the heels of a successful Kick-Off Fundraiser on Saturday at the Golleher Alumni House. More than 150 alumni, fans, family and supporters attended the event and helped raise more than $15,000 for the CSF women's soccer program.

"Our kickoff event is always so much fun," Brown said. "It was great to see so many alumni at this year's event along with the families and supporters. The support we receive with this event will allow us to provide the 2016 team all they need to be successful on the playing field"

The day kicked off with the Alumni vs. Alumni match that saw a number of past Titans from as far back as 1994 show up and participate in the game including:
