BALTIMORE, Md. – Cal State Fullerton's Rebecca Wilson, who concluded her collegiate career with the Titans in the fall, was recognized along with the other All-American First, Second and Third Team members at the 2016 National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Convention on Saturday.

The annual conference is host to thousands of soccer aficionados from all 50 states and 33 countries. During the conference, soccer coaches have the opportunity to enhance their careers, invest in their players and grow in the coaching profession by participating in educational opportunities in the form of conferences, networking and sessions.

On Saturday, the conference took the time to recognize the top players in the NCAA. Wilson, who picked up her first-ever NSCAA First Team All-America nod last month, was one of those honored for her accomplishments.

"I couldn't be more proud of Becca," Cal State Fullerton head coach Demian Brown said. "This is a well-deserved honor which comes as a direct result of her hard work and amazing character. We wish her the best of luck in all of her future endeavors."

Brown served as Wilson's head coach during her four years at Cal State Fullerton in which she racked up a total of 34 goals to rank third in the Titans' record book. She also etched her named into the annals with a record-setting 19 assists and 123 shots on goal.

Wilson had a remarkable career at Cal State Fullerton that concluded with an even more extraordinary senior season in which she compiled a team- and Big West Conference-leading 19 goals, 10 assists and 48 total points. Her nearly 20 goals ranked her third in the NCAA as did her points total and points per game average.

The Placentia, Calif., native set a school record with 10 game-winning goals to lead the nation and finished the year nationally ranked in the top 50 in nine different categories.

Wilson was named Big West Conference Offensive Player of the Year for the second time in a row and garnered her second-straight Big West Conference First Team nod.

A team player on the pitch, Wilson was a key component to the No. 25 Cal State Fullerton squad that finished 16-3-2 overall as she helped the Titans to a share of their third regular-season title as well as leading Fullerton to its third consecutive conference tournament championship. She helped the Titans make their third NCAA Tournament appearance in as many years with her collegiate career coming to an end in a heartbreaking First Round contest at No. 11 USC, which the Titans lost on penalty kicks.
