FULLERTON, Calif. – Senior forward Rebecca Wilson recorded a hat trick and led the Cal State Fullerton women's soccer team to a 4-0 shutout victory over Hawai'i on Sunday night at Titan Stadium.

With the win, the Titans improve to 10-2-1 overall and 2-1-0 in the Big West Conference, while the Rainbow Wahine drop to 3-10-1 overall and 0-4-0 in league play.

Wilson's hat trick is the first for the Titans since 2012. She scored her first goal in the 37th minute as Jazzmin Mancilla found an open Connie Caliz up the left flank. The sophomore produced her sixth assist of the year delivering a cross that Wilson headed past Hawai'i goalkeeper Monk Berger.

With the Titans leading 1-0 at the break, Wilson struck again in the 55th minute as a looping cross from Jessica Simonian pulled Berger off her line. The keeper misplayed the ball, allowing Wilson to head in her second score of the night toward an empty net.

Wilson provided the assist on Fullerton's third goal in the 65th minute as her shot hit the post, and Ivy Diego notched her third goal of the year striking the rebound to the back of the net.

The third and final goal for Wilson, which gave the Titans a 4-0 lead in the 67th minute, was played through the box by Sarah Fajnor and redirected by Christina Burkenroad, setting up Wilson's shot to the low far corner.

Wilson's 14 goals in 2015 rank third all-time in Cal State Fullerton history. Also, she is now just the seventh player in program history to total at least seven points in a single game.

Fullerton outshot the Rainbow Wahine 26-10, and Berger made eight saves in net for UH.
