Taylor Fowler and Deidre Crabtree each shot 156 to tie for tenth place individually as Cal State Fullerton finished sixth as a team at the Colby Invitational women's golf tournament Tuesday at Silver Creek Valley Country Club.
Crabtree made up seven shots on her teammate with a one-over 73 on Tuesday following an 83 on Monday. Fowler, who shot 76 on Monday, had an 80 on Tuesday as the Titans finished with a team score of 633 strokes.
Boston College won the team title with a score of 610, 34 over par, to beat host Santa Clara by nine strokes. But the Broncos captured the individual title when Tamara Surtees bested teammate Miki Ueoka on a third playoff hole after each carded a 149.
Other Fullerton scores were 161 for Neomi Hunt (85-76) and Kathryn New (78-83), 167 for Kristen Aiu (84-83) and 169 for Lauren Heavrin (83-86).
Fresno State (620) was third followed by Nevada (623), UC Riverside (626), Fullerton and British Columbia (648).
