FULLERTON, CA - The Cal State Fullerton pairing of Deidre Crabtree and Kristen Aiu stand in 41st after the first day of play on Tuesday at the inaugural Hooters Women's Collegiate Team Championship presented by the National Golf Coaches Association.

The duo combined to shoot an 12-over-par 84 in the alternating shot first round in Georgia and will tee off the best-ball second round on Wednesday at 8:54 a.m.

More than 50 2-person teams are entered in this unique tourney that runs Aug. 3-5. On the first day, partners hit alternate shots. On the second day, it's a best ball format. On the third and final day combined scores will be recorded.

Crabtree is from Bakersfield and was the top scorer on the Titans' squad in its return season in 2009-10. Aiu is from Chino Hills and was the No. 3 scorer.
