Irvine, Calif. - Cal State Fullerton freshman Tisha Alyn Abrea and junior Taylor Fowler today were honored by the Big West Conference women's golf coaches. Abrea made the All-Big West second team while Fowler was accorded honorable mention.
Conference champion UC Davis dominated the squads with four first-team picks including freshman of the year Beverly Vatananugulkit. The Aggies' Anne Walker was selected coach of the year.
Fullerton finished in third place in the Big West Conference for the highest finish since the program was renewed for 2009-10.
