Neomi Hunt shot a 4-over-par 75 but was the only Cal State Fullerton golfer to break 80 Tuesday on the final round of the 15-team Anteater Invitational at Dove Canyon Country Club and the Titans slid from third place to seventh.
Taylor Fowler finished tied for 12th overall at 229 (75-74-80) and bested teammate Tisha Alyn Abrea (76-74-80= 230) by one stroke. Fullerton's team score was 927 to trail champion Washington State (904), BYU (910), Idaho (913), UC Irvine (915), and Long Beach State and UC Riverside (921). Other Titan totals were 234 for Se Ri Lee, 239 for Hunt and 247 for Kristen Aiu.
Fullerton is idle until the Big West Conference Championships on Apr. 22-23.
