Freshman Tisha Alyn Abrea finished second individually and freshman Se Ri Lee moved up 15 places to sixth on Tuesday to lead Cal State Fullerton to the championship of the Lexus Classic Women's Golf Tournament at Copper River Country Club.

The Titans came from 2 strokes back to top San Jose State by 4 strokes, 893-897, for the 54-hole, 13-team event. The team score was 29 over par. Fresno State and Nevada tied for third at 910.

Abrea shot a 2-over 74 Tuesday to finish at 1-over 217 (72-71-74) and trail only Madeleine Ziegert of San Jose (70-72-73 = 215) by 2 strokes. Lee shot a 1-over 73 to finish at 225 (75-77-73), 9 over and 10 strokes off the pace. Rounding out the Titans' scoring were Neomi Hunt at 227 to tie for 11th, Taylor Fowler at 234 to tie for 33rd and Kathryn New and Deidre Crabtree at 235 to tie for 38th.

Fullerton won the Firestone Grill Invitational in Nipomo in October and finished second in the Folino Invitational in Industry Hills in February. The Titans' next tournament is the Entrada Classic hosted by BYU in St. George, Utah, beginning March 21.
