SEDONA, Ariz. – Cal State Fullerton women's golf finished the Red Rocks Invitational Sunday afternoon in third place with a team score of 21-over par 885.
Linley Ooi had her best tournament as a Titan, wrapping up the tournament in second place after shooting 2-under par 214. Ooi shot a 71 and 73 in the first two rounds before shooting an impressive 70 in the third and final round.
Katharina Zeilinger and Elina Saksa both placed tied for 23rd with an 8-over par 224. Zeilinger shot a 78 in the first round followed by a 73 in rounds two and three. Saksa started the tournament with an 81 before improving with a 71 in round two and 72 in round three.
Davina Xanh shot 12-over par 228 to place tied for 44th (71-80-77). Elyse Kim finished tied for 71st with a score of 18-over par 234 (80-76-78).
The Titans have a couple weeks off before returning to action April 3-4 at the Wyoming Cowgirl Classic in Arizona.
