COEUR d'ALENE, Idaho – Cal State Fullerton women's golf finished the Coeur d'Alene Resort College Invitational Tuesday afternoon in eighth place with a score of 31-over par 883.
Freshman Davina Xanh finished the tournament tied for third after shooting 2-under par 211 (70-66-75). Xanh's 66 in round two is the third-lowest round in the history of the tournament.
Elina Saksa shot 6-over par 219 to finish tied for 24th (74-69-76). Katharina Zeilinger placed tied for 56th with a 13-over par 226 (77-72-77). Linley Ooi finished in 64th place with a 14-over par 227 (74-77-76) while Kajsa Landstrom placed 93rd with a 25-over par 238 (77-84-77).
Fullerton is back in action Oct. 3 and 4 at the Pat Lesser-Harbottle Invitational in Lakewood, Wash.
