FULLERTON, Calif. – Linley Ooi and Elina Saksa earned Big West Honorable Mention after a strong season for the women's golf team. 

Saksa took first place at the Jackrabbit Intercollegiate in the first tournament of the year with a score of 3-over par 219. 

After transferring from UNLV, Saksa earned her first tournament title as a Titan and second in her career. This is the first time in her career Saksa has been the sole winner of a tournament. Saksa shot a 69 in round, tying her career-best single round score. She finished the tournament with a 75 in round two and three. 

Saksa finished the season with a 75.09 stroke average in 22 rounds.

Ooi is also in her first season at Cal State Fullerton after transferring from Oklahoma. She had 76.05 stroke average in 22 rounds played this season and had her best finish at the Big West Championships where she tied for 12th with a 12-over par 236.
