BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – Cal State Fullerton women's golf wrapped up day one of the Valley Invitational in third place with a score of 33-over par 609.
After two rounds, Elina Saksa sits in third place with a score of 1-over par 145. Saksa shot a 71 in the first round followed by a 74 in round two. Saksa is just one stroke back of the leaders.
Linley Ooi is tied for 14th after day one, shooting 8-over par 152. Ooi started off the tournament with a 75 in the first round before shooting a 77 in the second round.
Kayla Sam and Lisa Djerf are tied for 33rd after two rounds of the Valley Invitational with a score of 14-over par 158. Sam shot a 75 and an 83 while Djerf shot an 80 in round one and a 78 in round two.
Haruka Koda is tied for 44th after shooting 15-over par 159 with a 78 and 81. Kayle Hunn competed as an individual and is in 62nd place with a score of 23-over par 167.
The Titans wrap up the Valley Invitational with the third and final round Tuesday morning. Fullerton is paired with San Francisco and Grand Canyon for the final round and tee-off at 8:00 a.m. PT.
