Fullerton In Sixth Heading Into Final Round of Big West Championship

YORBA LINDA, Calif. – Cal State Fullerton finished day two of the Big West Championship in sixth place with a 28-over par 604. The Titans shot a 15-over par 303 Tuesday afternoon at the Yorba Linda Country. 

Horuka Koda and Brittany Shin remain tied with each other after two rounds with an overall score of 4-over par 148 to place them tied for 17th. Both shot a 76 in the second round after shooting even par on day one. 

Lisa Djerf sits tied for 29th after with a score of 9-over par 153. Djerf shot 7-over par in round one and greatly improved in round two with a 2-over par. 

Kayle Hunn shot a 5-over par 77 in round two, placing her tied for 31st with a total score of 11-over par 155. Sara Camerena is tied for 43rd heading into the third and final round with a 24-over par 168. 

UC Irvine holds its lead heading into the third and final round, leading Cal Poly by just one stroke. The Anteater's Megan Yang leads the field individually with a score of 6-under par 138. Cal Poly's Caroline Cantlay is four strokes behind her at 2-under par 142. 

The Titans wrap up the Big West Championship Wednesday morning at the Yorba Linda Country Club with tee times beginning at 7:30 a.m. PT.
