MARICOPA, Ariz. – Brittany Shin took first place at the Wyoming Cowgirl Classic with a score of 5-under par 211. Fullerton finished in 13th as a team after shooting 23-over par 919.
Shin earned her second individual title of her career Tuesday after putting together an impressive performance, shooting a 67 in round one, 71 in round two and a 73 in the third and final round.
Sara Camarena finished tied for 80th with a score of 20-over par 236. Lisa Djerf placed tied for 83rd after shooting 21-over par 237. Haruka Koda shot a 25-over par 241 to finish tied for 89th while Kayle Hunn placed tied for 92nd with a score of 26-over par 242.
The Titans are back in action next week as they head to Clovis, Calif. for the Fresno State Classic beginning Monday at the Copper River Country Club.
