FULLERTON, Calif. – Brittany Shin claims Big West Women's Golfer of the Month to open the season, the conference announced Thursday.  

Shin recorded two top 10 finishes in February, winning individual medalist honors at The Valley Invitational with scores of 76-69-74 (219) while leading the team to a third place finish. Shin then placed tied for 10th at the Moorpark Intercollegiate. 

This is the second time in her young career Shin has earned golfer of the month honors.
