Women's Golf in Ninth After Round One at Bruin Wave

SOMIS, Calif. – After one round at the Bruin Wave, the Titans are in ninth place with a score of 32-over par 320. 

Fullerton is led by Brittany Shin who is tied for fifth place after shooting 2-over par 74 on day one of the tournament. Sara Camarena is tied for 38th with a 9-over par 81. 

Junior Lisa Djerf is tied for 48th at 10-over par 82. Haruka Koda is tied for 53rd after shooting a 83 while Sofia Legaspi is tied for 77th with a 90 in round one. 

Oregon is in first place after day one with a 18-over par 306. Ching-Tzu Chen and Briana Chacon of Oregon are tied for first individually after shooting even par 72. 

The Titans return to the Saticoy Country Club Tuesday morning for the second round of the Bruin Wave. Fullerton is paired up with Nebraska and Pepperdine for round two with the first group teeing off at 8:00 a.m. PT. Follow live updates on Golfstat.com.
