Bakersfield, Calif. – After two rounds at the Valley Invitational, the Titans are sitting in second place with a score of 36-over par 612. The Titans were led by sophomore Brittany Shin who posted a first-round score of 76 and a second-round score of 69 to shoot a 1-over par on the day. Shin also leads the field of 62 players after carding five birdies in her second round.
Sara Camarena, who skipped the first round due to minor back pain, would finish round two +6 after carding three birdies on the back nine. Haruka Koda and Nodoka Honda are T17 after two rounds of play.
The Titans will be back in action on Tuesday in Bakersfield for the third and final round. The tournament is being played at the par 72, 6,029-yard Bakersfield Country Club.
