FAIRFAX, Calif. – Cal State Fullerton finished the Juli Inkster Meadow Club Collegiate in 10th place with a score of 35-over par 899.
Rutgers took first place after shooting 4-over par 868 while Harriet Allsebrook from Rutgers took first place individually with a final score of 9-under par 207.
Lisa Djerf led the Titans individually as she finished tied for 26th place with a 7-over par 223. Djerf shot a 73 in the first round followed by a 75 in rounds two and three.
Elsa Lundquist battled back on the final day to finish tied for 29th place with a score of 8-over par 224. Lundquist was in 36th place heading into round three but was able to move up seven spots after shooting a 74 in the final round.
Felicia Medalla placed tied for 46th with a score of 12-over par 228. Medalla shot a 76 in round one followed by a 74 in round two and a 78 in the third round.
Texie Petchel had an impressive finish to the tournament as she shot a one-over par 73 to move up 13 spots in the final round to finish tied for 46th place alongside Medalla. Pauline Welker placed tied for 57th with a score of 15-over par 231.
The Titans return to action this weekend, March 23-24, at the Red Rocks Invitational in Sedona, Ariz. hosted by Northern Arizona at the Oakcreek Country Club.
