KYLE, Texas. – Following the completion of two rounds at the Texas State Invitational, Cal State Fullerton women's golf is in ninth place with a score of 18-over par 586.
Junior Elsa Lundquist leads the team at 1-over par 143 to place her tied for 14th place. Lundquist began the tournament shooting a 2-under par 70 in round one and followed up with 73 in round two.
Felicia Medalla is tied for 20th after shooting 3-over par 145. Medalla shot a 72 in the first round and 2-over par 73 in the second. Texie Petchel is tied for 33rd place after shooting 5-over 147 after two rounds. Petchel improved from recording a 3-over par 74 in the first round to shooting 73 in the second round.
Lisa Djerf is tied for 49th after going 9-over 151 through two rounds shooting a 75 in round one and a 82 in the second round. Tied for 70th is Courtney Sharkey with a score of 14-over 156 after two rounds of competition.
The Titans are paired with UTEP and Sam Houston State for the final round with the first group teeing off at 6:15 am PT Tuesday morning.
