THIS WEEK: The Cal State Fullerton women's golf team will compete in the Cougar Cup hosted by Washington State at the Palouse Ridge Golf Club in Pullman, Wash.

THE COURSE: Palouse Ridge Golf Club is located on the campus of Washington State University and was the host for the 2015 Men's Pac-12 Golf Championships…the 6,200-yard track will play at par 72 for the WSU Cougar Cup...the course, which opened in Aug. 2008, was named to Golfweek's Top College Courses list in 2014 and 2015.

THE FIELD: In addition to the Titans and host Cougars, the 12-team field will include Eastern Washington, Grand Canyon, Idaho, Montana, Montana State, Sacramento State, Seattle, Utah Valley, Fresno State, and British Columbia.

A NEW LOW: Junior Martina Edberg set a new Fullerton record when she recorded a 5-under 68 in the second round of the Dick McGuire Invitational on Sept. 14. Her single-round score of 68 set a new school record, eclipsing the 69 that was recorded on five occasions, including twice by Edberg. Also, with the U.N.M. Championship Course playing at a par-73, her 5-under score was also a new single-round scoring record.

FIRST TIME OUT: Felicia Medalla, Ebba Nilsson and Brittney Sok all made their Titan debuts at the Dick McGuire Invitational on Sept. 14. Medalla recorded the second-best score of the tournament for the Titans, posting a 12-over 231. She wrapped the tournament with a 2-under 71, her first career round under par.
