ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Cal State Fullerton junior Martina Edberg finished in a tie for 26th place as the Titans wrapped up the final round of the Dick McGuire Invitational hosted by New Mexico Tuesday at the U.N.M Championship Course in Albuquerque, N.M.

Edberg, who entered the final day two shots off the lead at 4-under, posted a 5-over 78 in the final round and finish the 54-hole event with a 1-over 220. Edberg finished nine shots back of medalist Sarah Cho from Northwestern. Cho posted a 4-under 69 in round three to finish ahead of the 104-entrant field at 8-under, one stroke ahead of day one leader Mariah Stackhouse of Stanford.

As for the Titans, the team finished with a 16-over 308 in the third round, matching the team's second round score. Fullerton posted a 52-over 928 overall to finish in 16th place in a field that featured 11 teams that finished the 2014-15 season ranked in the top 50 of the GolfStat NCAA Head-to-Head rankings. Defending NCAA National Champions Stanford finished atop the leaderboard Tuesday, posting a 2-under 290 in the final round to end the 54 holes with a 20-under 856, 10 strokes ahead of second-place Northwestern.

Fullerton freshman Felicia Medalla posted her first career round under par on Tuesday, carding a 2-under 71 to pace the Titans in the final round. She was the team's second best finisher, posting a 12-over 231 to finish in a tie for 61st place. Sophomore Brittany Farrell came into the clubhouse one stroke behind her teammate as she recorded a 13-over 232.

Freshman Ebba Nilsson finished her first competition with a 33-over 252 after posting a 9-over 82 on Tuesday, matching her first round score. Nadine Rivera rounded out the Titans team competitors with a 36-over 255.

Freshman Brittney Sok competed as an individual in Albuquerque and posted a 10-over 83 on Tuesday to match her second round score and finish the competition with a 35-over 254.

The Titans return to action on Sept. 21 when they head to Pullman, Wash. to participate in the Cougar Cup hosted by Washington State at the Palouse Ridge Golf Club.
