FRESNO, Calif. -- Cal State Fullerton sophomore Tisha Alyn Abrea led the charge with a 6-over-par 150 to finish in a tie for 10th individually on Monday, but the defending champion Titans struggled in the second round overall as a team, closing in 12th place after 36 holes of the Fresno State Lexus Classic at the Copper River Country Club in Fresno, Calif.

Fullerton finished the first round in a three-way tie for sixth led by Abrea's 1-over-par 73, but the Titans were eight strokes worse in their second round, finishing the day four strokes back of UC Riverside in 11th and 26 shots behind day one leader Tulsa, which shot an 18-over-par 594 after identical scores of 297.

Big West Conference rivals Long Beach State and UC Irvine are in second and third, respectively, after the first two rounds.
