In the fall of 2021 Milan will begin his fifth season as a member of head coach Jeff Harada's women's basketball staff. Milan, was promoted to assistant coach during the 2020-21 season from being the director of operations.
Milan graduated in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science degree in kinesiology. After his graduation, he returned to Hawaii and in 2013 he earned his Master of Education degree in educational administration from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
While working on his degree from 2010-2013, Milan served as a graduate basketball manager with the UH men's program preparing scouting reports, editing breakdown videos of the team and opponents, conducting individual player workouts, monitoring the academic eligibility of student-athletes, assisting with travel arrangements, promoting and conducting the Rainbow Warrior Summer Basketball Camp, and coordinating all equipment handling.
While attending Cal State Fullerton, Milan spent one season (2009-10) as the freshman boys' basketball coach at Yorba Linda High School. Before arriving at Fullerton, Milan played two seasons at Orange Coast College (2006-08), and also served as a team manager for the UH men's basketball program from 2004-06.
Milan played four seasons of varsity basketball at Kaimuki High School in Honolulu, graduating in 2004.
