FULLERTON, Calif. - Cal State Fullerton women's basketball defeated CSU Bakersfield 57-44 in their last home game on Saturday night. The Titans improve to 13-15 overall and 8-11 in Big West play.

Before the game, the Titans celebrated senior night by honoring Nancy Panagiotopoulou-Andritsopoulou, Anniken Frey and Josie Morgan. Although Frey is working through a day-to-day injury, Panagiotopoulou-Andritsopoulou and Morgan saw increased playing time.

Panagiotopoulou-Andritsopoulou started the game in the spot previously occupied by Ruby MacDonald and Aixchel Hernandez. This marked the first start of her career with the Titans, getting 10 minutes of playing time throughout the game. Panagiotopoulou-Andritsopoulou went 0-for-2 from the field, but snagged three rebounds for the Titans.

The Titans struggled to connect a shot, but a quick timeout allowed for the team to regroup and steady their game play. Una Jovanovic aided in changing the narrative for the Titans with a go-ahead three-pointer.

Jovanovic scored 12 points for the Titans on 4-of-9 shooting from the field and 3-of-3 shooting from the free-throw line. She added a single steal, three assists and nine rebounds to her stat line by the end of regulation.

Morgan saw her first minutes of the game in the second quarter where she got the crowd and her teammates fired up after sinking a three-pointer to give the Titans a 20-15 edge.

This was Morgan's first outing since Jan. 19 at home against Long Beach State.

The Titans returned from the break up 22-19 but once again struggled to gain insurance cushion. Similar to the start of the game, the Titans regained their momentum and retook the lead later in the third quarter with a triple from MacDonald.

MacDonald put up a perfect stat line shooting 4-for-4 from the field, 3-for-3 in 3-pointer territory and 1-for-1 at the free-throw line.

Ashlee Lewis led the team with 11 rebounds and contributed 10 points on 4-of-12 shooting.

Morgan and Panagiotopoulou-Andritsopoulou entered off the bench for the final 50 seconds of play to cap off their senior night win.

The Titans are set to wrap up their regular season on Saturday on the road against UC San Diego at 2 p.m. PT.
