Long Beach, Calif. - Cal State Fullerton women's basketball fell to Long Beach State 65-53 on Thursday night at the Pyramid.
Fujika Nimmo put up an impressive 15 points in the first half, leading all scorers. Her dominance on the field forced Long Beach to change their game plan after the break.

Nimmo found it harder to sink her field goals as The Beach strengthened their defensive blocks. At the end of regulation, Nimmo was responsible for 18 of the 53 points for the Titans.
Aixchel Hernandez was the only other Titan to score double digits, scoring 15 points. Hernandez led the scorers in the second half and had 11 rebounds tonight.

Una Jovanovic could not locate any of her shots in the first half but found a way to contribute six points for the Titans during the second half. Jovanovic remained a key component of the Titans offensive production with six assists.

The Titans look to bounce back from this loss on Saturday as they visit UC Riverside. Tip-off is scheduled for 6 p.m.
