FULLERTON, Calif. – Cal State Fullerton women's basketball dominated UC Davis Saturday afternoon at Titan Gym, defeating the Aggies 67-51. With the win the Titans improve to 7-8 and 2-4 in Big West play
The Titans had a strong start the game, going on a 7-0 run and a 12-2 extended run through the first 5:15 of the first quarter. Fullerton led the game from start to finish after jumping out to an early 10-point lead.

Fujika Nimmo was unstoppable in the first half, scoring 16 points on 7-of-8 shooting and 2-of-3 from three-point range. The Titans led 35-24 at the break.

Fullerton started the second half much like it started the game, going on an 11-4 run to open up an 18-point lead.
Nimmo and Una Jovanovic were a lethal one-two punch all game. Jovanovic scored a career-high 26 points while Nimmo went on to score 25 points. Jovanovic also recorded her first career double double with 11 rebounds to go along with 26 points.

The dynamic duo rank second and third in The Big West in scoring with Nimmo averaging 15 points per game and Jovanovic averaging 14.9.
While the two offensive stars shined for the offense, the Titans defense was able to limit Evanne Turner, The Big West leading scorer with 15.7 points per game, to just nine points.
Fullerton looks to carry its momentum on the road as the team heads to Bakersfield for a matchup with the Roadrunners Monday night at 7:00 p.m. PT.
