HENDERSON, Nev. – Cal State Fullerton women's basketball advances to the second round of the Big West Tournament with a 70-64 win over Cal Poly Tuesday afternoon at the Dollar Loan Center.

The Titans got off to a strong start on both ends of the court as they went into the second quarter with a 14-5 lead. Cal Poly would come back in the second quarter, out scoring Fullerton 24-14 to take a one-point lead into halftime.
Gabi Vidmar got the Titans offense going in the second half, drilling a deep three-pointer on the team's first possession. Vidmar finished the game with 14 points on 4-of-7 shooting, including 3-of-6 from behind the arc.

Carolyn Gill led the Titans offensively with a team-high 16 points on 6-of-12 from the field while adding four rebounds and two assists. It is Gill's second highest scoring game of the season.

Lily Wahinekapu added 10 points, two rebounds and two assists after getting in early foul trouble. Brianna Furch stepped while Wahinekapu was in foul trouble, scoring four points while grabbing two rebounds and dishing out three assists.
