FULLERTON, Calif. – Cal State Fullerton women's basketball fell to UC Irvine on the road Thursday night by a final score of, 51-54. The Titans are now 10-14 and 5-9 in Big West play.
Fullerton had a sizable lead in the second half but were just unable to hang onto down the stretch as UC Irvine came storming back.
Carolyn Gill and Fujika Nimmo led the team with 10 points each. Gill added seven rebounds and two assists while Nimmo grabbed one board and dished out six assists off the bench. Aixchel Hernandez added eight points and three rebounds off the bench of the Titans.

Jayde Cadee led UC Irvine in scoring Thursday night with a game-high 14 points on 5-of-9 shooting. The Anteaters got several contributions off the bench with a total of 21 points.
The Titans look to bounce back Saturday night as they host UC San Diego on Senior Night at 7:00 p.m. in Titan Gym.
