IRVINE, Calif. - Cal State Fullerton women's basketball lost 68-60 at UC Irvine on Saturday night in the Bren Events Center. Three Titans socred in double figures, led by senior forward Carolyn Gill with 16 but it wasn't enough to defeat the second-place Anteaters.

UC Irvine (11-6, 9-2 Big West) led for 35 minutes on Saturday and was up by 22 at the 7:08 mark of the fourth quarter. But the Titans (2-16, 1-3 Big West) battled back and ended up winning the fourth quarter, 24-18.

Gill led the team with 16 points to go with nine rebounds and two steals in 30 minutes of play. Senior forward Joy Krupa tallied 13 points, six rebounds, two assists, one steal and three blocks in 37 minutes. Sophomore forward Kathryn Neff was the third Titan to score 10+ with 13 points and three rebounds in 32 minutes. Freshman guard Bell Stratford had a team-high +6 in the plus-minus category, tallying three points, four rebounds, two assists and three steals in 17 minutes.

Fullerton shot 23-59 (39.0%) from the field, 5-22 (22.7%) beyond the arc and 9-13 (69.2%) at the free-throw line.

Next up, the Titans host UC San Diego on March 5-6 at 5 p.m. PT for the final two games of the regular season.
